Raising Money and Awareness of DMD
Alan “Billy” Unwin, Deputy Head of Technical Delivery in our Jersey office and avid marathon runner, is on a mission to raise funds and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) after his little son Dexter was diagnosed at just 2.5 years old. To help his chosen charity, Duchenne UK, Billy is taking on the London, Berlin, and Jersey Marathons, aiming to finish each in under 3 hours! He hopes to shine a light on the tough battles faced by those affected by DMD.
Duchenne UK takes an innovative and sharply focused approach to fighting Duchenne muscular dystrophy from every angle - funding ground-breaking medical research, accelerating access to treatments, improving lives through technology, and ensuring everyone in the DMD community is given the care and support they need.
