Service Desk Role

Due to our excellent reputation, our company is continually winning new business and, as a result, we have a position in our Service Desk Team for a Junior IT Professional.

This is a varied, interesting and challenging position where a desire to learn and develop in a fast-paced industry is essential. The ideal candidate will work from our office in Guernsey (Garenne Park), responding to support calls, assisting end users with the diagnosis and resolution of desktop, network and server issues. The candidate will be expected to take an active role in service desk tasks and will spend a significant proportion of time assisting clients over the telephone with first-line support assistance.

Candidates will ideally have:

  • worked in a service desk or technical IT position for 1 to 2 years
  • a knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Software
  • an exposure to Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix XenApp
  • the ability to carry out Windows Server and Exchange administration tasks

Accurate record-keeping and good time management are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, conscientious and will pay great attention to detail.

The remuneration package includes a car allowance, income protection, life assurance, medical insurance, and pension. The final remuneration package will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Client Services Role

Due to our excellent reputation, our company is continually winning new business and, as a result, we have a position in our Client Services Team for an IT professional.

This is a varied, interesting and challenging position where a desire to learn and develop in a fast paced industry is essential. The ideal candidate will work from our office in Guernsey or Jersey but will spend a great deal of time on customer sites, so they must be able to work on their own initiative, but they will also enjoy being part of a close knit team. The candidate will  respond to support calls, assist end users with the diagnosis and resolution of desktop, network and server issues.  

We are seeking candidates with varied experience and candidates will ideally have:

  • worked in a help desk or technical IT position for 2 to 4 years
  • a good knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Software
  • experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix XenApp
  • the ability to support Microsoft and third-party application software including M365
  • a capability to carry out health checks and preventative maintenance checks
  • familiarity with PC/server/printer hardware

or

  • worked in a help desk or technical IT position for 5+ years
  • thorough knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems
  • a good understanding of Hyper-V and/or VMware
  • experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix XenApp
  • the ability to implement and support Microsoft and third-party application software including M365
  • a capability to carry out highly technical health checks, preventative maintenance checks and security work

Technical Services Role

Due to our excellent reputation and many recommendations, our company is continually winning new business and, as a result, we have a position in our Technical Services Team for an IT professional.

This is a varied, interesting and challenging position where a desire to learn and develop in a fast-paced industry is essential.  The ideal candidate will work from our office in Guernsey or Jersey and will be a key member of our Technical Services Team who consult with clients to ensure that solution meet their strategic needs. 

We are seeking experienced candidates with substantial working knowledge and demonstrable skills in multiple areas to include but not limited to:

  • Windows Server including Active Directory and associated technologies
  • Hyper-V and/or VMware infrastructure
  • Citrix (On-Prem and Citrix Cloud)
  • Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, Microsoft 365, Azure, AVD/WVD)

Enterprise Content Management Consultant

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Enterprise Content Management Consultant, who will ideally already have experience with the M-Files intelligent information platform, or if not, an alternative Enterprise Content Management Solutions (eDOCS, iManage, Invu, Laserfiche, SharePoint, etc.) 

As a Consultant, you will be a key part of the Business Transformation team helping our clients discern their needs and determine how M-Files and other product sets can benefit their businesses. You will work on all aspects of the M-Files customer lifecycle. This starts with supporting sales initiatives and providing a level of effort estimations, followed by detailed requirements gathering, implementation individually or as part of a team, and driving rollout with training and support. 

This role is client-facing and carries real responsibility, so to succeed in this position you need strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen to the client and translate their needs into actions.

Candidates will ideally have:

  • 3-5 years experience as a technical consultant
  • a good educational background
  • a working knowledge of the Microsoft platform along with some experience with VBScript, SQL, REST, XML and C#
  • experience and a working knowledge of internet environments including IIS.
