Service Desk Analyst Role
Clarity's Guernsey office is seeking an individual to fill a team-based role relating to the provision of various IT services to our clients. These Service Desk duties are predominantly office-based, covering the following areas, as well as other duties, as required:
- Supporting clients remotely, under direction from the Head of Department, responding to support calls, assisting end users with the diagnosis and resolution of desktop, network and server issues. You are expected to take an active role in Service Desk related duties. your target is at least 33% of your time as chargeable to clients.
- Carrying out daily health check, preventative maintenance checks and logging service tickets where required in order that these can be remediated.
- Supporting and providing assistance to the other Service Desk Team members.
Ideally candidates will have at least 2 to 3 years relative Service Desk / IT Support experience.
Guernsey Professional Services Analyst Role
Due to our excellent reputation, our company is continually winning new business and, as a result, we have a position in our Professional Services for an Analyst.
This is a varied, interesting and challenging position where a desire to learn and develop in a fast-paced industry is essential. The ideal candidate will work from our office in Guernsey. This will also include some work on customer sites, so the successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative. They will also enjoy being part of a close-knit team. The candidate will respond to support calls and assist end users with the diagnosis and resolution of desktop, network and server issues.
We are seeking candidates with varied experience who will ideally have:
- worked in a Help Desk or a technical IT position for 2 to 4 years
- a good knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Software
- experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix XenApp
- the ability to support Microsoft and third-party application software including M365
- a capability to carry out health checks and preventative maintenance checks
- familiarity with PC/server/printer hardware
- a good understanding of Hyper-V and/or VMware
- experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix XenApp
- the ability to support Microsoft and third-party application software including M365
- a capability to carry out highly technical health checks, preventative maintenance checks and security work.
Accurate record keeping and good time management are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, conscientious and will pay great attention to detail.

Jersey Client Outsource Role
We have an immediate position in our Jersey Team for a Client Outsource Support Professional
This is a varied, interesting and challenging position where the successful candidate will join a dedicated team to provide onsite support to our enterprise client base. The candidate will be part of a rota that will spend time onsite at clients' offices in Jersey, responding to support calls, assisting end users with the diagnosis and resolution of desktop, network and server issues. The candidate will be expected to take an active role in support tasks and will spend a significant proportion of time assisting clients over the telephone and by providing remote assistance.
Candidates will ideally have:
- worked in a service desk or technical IT position for at least 2 years
- a knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems and Software
- an exposure to Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and/or Citrix XenApp
- the ability to carry out Windows Server and Exchange administration tasks
Accurate record-keeping, good time management teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with both clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, calm under pressure, conscientious and will pay great attention to detail.
