The Sark weather was very kind to the Clarity Annual Shooters; an intrepid group comprising 31 representatives from our wonderful clients. After a surprisingly smooth crossing on the ferry, and a quick breakfast bap at AJ's café, the party set off for the shooting field and split into teams.
Neil's team fancied their chances as the other team captains took to bickering over allegations of pre-match fixing and last minute changes. Expert tutelage from Outdoor Guernsey's instructors made for a fierce competition.
It was clear that the scores were going to be tight as the final shots rang out over the bay. After a delightful sticky toffee pud at Stocks, the results were revealed with only one point separating three of the four teams. Alas, Doug's squad pinched the victory!
After further allegations of foul play, the party was well-received at The Bel Air for a celebratory drink before braving the tussling tide back to Guernsey.
